These $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagles are Popular Dates with a Mint State Choice grade of MS63 from either PCGS or NGC. Popular Dates for the $20 Liberty coins range from 1877 – 1907 from either the Philadelphia, San Francisco, Denver, New Orleans, or Carson City mint. Mint State Gold selects the dates and mints you receive and feels confident that you will be very pleased with the selections.

These Choice MS63 coins are solid examples of their grade with a majority of the original mint luster still apparent. The surface will have a few small contact marks as well as a couple visible scuff marks and defects on the face. The eye appeal is rather attractive and these are overall prime examples of uncirculated quality MS63 coins.

The most recognizable and highly esteemed coin of its day, the $20 Gold Liberty coin was born as a result of the California Gold Rush of 1848. Commonly called Double Eagles, these historical coins were produced continuously from 1849 – 1907 and served as currency in the United States until 1933.
