These are stunning 2017 $50 Gold Eagles graded MS70 First Strike by PCGS. Each of these perfect PCGS MS70 First Strike 1oz American Gold Eagle coins features razor-sharp details, ultra-crisp devices, satin-smooth fields, and utterly brilliant surfaces.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike.
