This impressive 2007-W Early Release Burnished Gold Eagle has beautiful, satiny-smooth surfaces and clear fields. Early Release coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated Early Release.
