This is a 2016-W Burnished $50 Gold Eagle with the PCGS Flag Label, graded PERFECT SP70 by PCGS and certified First Strike. Featuring sharp details, crisp devices, satin-smooth fields, and brilliant surfaces, this beautiful 1oz Burnished Gold Eagle will make a valuable addition to any collection or portfolio.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
