A $5,000 bag of Half-dollars, each with a 40% silver content for a total of 10,000 Half-Dollars. A convenient and versatile way to own silver, these bags are made up of circulated U.S. half dollar coins that are legal U.S. tender, with a 40% silver content for a total of approximately 1,475 ounces of silver!

The majority of the coins in these bags, though still legal currency, are rarely seen in circulation today due to their silver content and subsequent increased value. Though they may still be legally used for their face value for monetary transactions, their true value is substantially higher than the coins’ face value based on their silver content and rising silver prices.

That means it wouldn’t take too much additional demand -- from investors, hedge funds, or governments -- to push silver’s market prices to sharply higher levels!
