Perfect for world gold collections, this British Queen Victoria Veiled Head Gold Sovereigns each contain .2355 ounces pure gold and each one is in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition and dated pre-1933.

The Queen Victoria Veiled Head Gold Sovereigns were first introduced in 1893 and continued until 1900. The obverse (front side) features a left facing bust of a mature Queen Victoria wearing a veil. The reverse (back side) design features Saint George slaying a dragon as designed by a brilliant young Italian engraver, Benedetto Pistrucci. This beautiful classic design remains on the gold sovereigns today, almost two hundred years later.
